Reality is so last year. There are only so many mornings we can wake to coffee and pop-tarts before we snap. Our radio alarm clocks launch us from our dreams of candy and love. What if you didn’t have to wake up? Sorry, but you have to wake up. On another note, there is a wonderful brand of game out there referred to as Alternate Reality Games. It’s a game that can be played by teenagers in their parent’s basement, people with extra time at their jobs, housewives with a degree in math, or that homeless guy who you get your lottery numbers from. In the easiest to describe but very not accurate way, it’s like you’re Michael Douglas in The Game. This is pre-cradle robbing Douglas, so don’t get your hopes up. It’s a game that blurs the lines of reality. A detective serial that you take part in. From mysterious websites to midnight phone calls. Cryptic emails to a piece of code written on a bathroom stall. A giant community played puzzle with a driving story. Interested? Intrigued? Just bored? Then check out the latest Alternate Reality Game being played at Perplex City. A swell(let’s start using that as a word again, okay?) Alternate Reality Game community can be found at Unfiction. Filed under: A 47 Danger and General Comments:
