Short Circuit is great. At least it was 17 years ago when I would watch my VHS copy of it every single day.

But in a world where the second season of Twin Peaks is locked in DVD limbo, a kids movie from 1986 starring Steve Guttenberg does not belong on a specialized proprietary disc.

If a Blondie concert video comes out on UMD, I think I’ll have to shoot myself.
