		<description>The hype surrounding The Warriors is based on the movie's cult status, and the increasing trend of making games out of old movies (Godfather).  I believe the hype stems from the "innovation" of tying together two different areas of pop culture that wouldn't normally be expected (video games and 30 year old films).

You gotta hand it to them, though.  Without "The Warriors" as a selling point, it would just be derivative, as Danger pointed out above.  It won't be an awesome game, I can guarantee that.  It will just be ok at best.  But here we are talking about it, giving it more press, and that means the publisher wins.</description>
