That makes me sad. I like the GameCube. I like that it has (much) shorter load times and the potential for cleaner graphics than the Playstation. My game-buying behavior this year has avoided multiplatform games that were also released on the Cube, but I will say this: if I decide to buy Timesplitters 3, LEGO Star Wars or X-Men Legends 2 (all selections I have considered), I’ll go the GameCube route. This is my plea to fellow gamers: if a game you want is released on multiple platforms including the GameCube and there isn’t an online mode that you plan on taking advantage of, or a significant control-related issue (see Mega Man Anniversary Collection), remember the poor little purple box. It’s been so reliable… why not do it a favor? Filed under: Beuks and GameCube and General Comments:

Interesting thought. I almost always go for the Xbox when it comes to multiplatform games, and the controller is the number one reason. Food for thought, Beuks. I will eat it.
