My copy of Project Gotham Racing 3 arrives at GameStop today. As much as I like looking at shiny shiny paper, I think I’ll hold off on picking it up until my Xbox 360 unit arrives at GameStop. Which brings us to a mystery. When will my Xbox 360 arrive at GameStop? I’m number 35 on the list. The second list. I’m 35 on the list for the second shipment. From all the shortage news and what not, I’m getting the sinking impression that I’d be rather lucky to get the 360 before Xmas. If worse comes to worst, I’ll pick up Project Gotham Racing 3 and review the ergonomic feel of the instruction booklet. Hell, I’ll tell you right now. Not ergonomic in the least. So I got a call from GameStop yesterday. You know what they said? That due to back orders, Im not going to get my Xbox 360 soon. Maybe not even until after Christmas. I thought that preordering during the summer was suposed to eliminate this problem. So Im pissed off. Either at GameStop, or Microsoft. Or both.
