I had the same thing happen to me. 1st call around 8pm stating wireless controller is available for pickup. 2nd call stating one of my games (DOA4) would not be arriving Tuesday. I don't recall when the robot said it would be available, I sorta just zoned out in disbelief. The final call came around a little later, stating that my pre-ordered 360 would not be available until early 2006. What??? Now I'm sad and mad; mostly mad. I traded in my old unit, along with all my accessories and games to help pay for the new Xbox. The employees at my local GameStop even asked if I was coming in to pick up my console at the midnight party. I said I didn't know, but now that I'm screwed and not going to get my console I can't find a reason to go. I might stand in line at Best Buy and see if I can get a console there, but I'm made because I can't get a refund at GameStop sense my trade-in was for store credit. While, I'm glad the robot called I don't think I'll be buying any more consoles and maybe not even games at GameStop or EB for that matter. I wonder how many angery customers there are like me.
