How will Mccain take the news of losing his home state to Obama?

Posted in News  by admin on April 30th, 2010

The news is reporting that Mccain leads his home state by 2 points.2 Points is not a big lead, and the news said its most likely Obama will take Arizona. Will Mccain accuse everyone in Arizona of being Anti Americans?

I live in AZ and I know a lot of people who will vote tomorrow, and they are all voting for McCain. So you never know what will happen!

What news station or website can an independent voter trust?

Posted in News  by admin on April 27th, 2010

CNN supports Obama blindly and bad mouths McCain at every chance.

FOX supports McCain blindly and bad mouths Obama at every shot they get.

So what news program or news website can I watch for fair and balanced news?

You can check out Fact Check which is non partisan and
1)calls a fact a fact
2) outline when statements are out & out lies or just twisted to sound good

You can also check out a website set up for Independent voters

What is the best source for independent news on the internet?

Posted in News  by admin on April 24th, 2010

I am tired of the same story being told 7 different ways. I am looking for a site that will give a far larger variety of news and sources.
In this day and age, it is silly to have the same news story retold by everyone, leaving the rest of the news to remain untold.

Al Jazeera does an excellent job. Stories are written for an international audience, so there are a lot of stories that don’t directly related to the United States (if that’s where you’re from), but they are the most important news stories in the world. They really have their priorities straight, never focusing on celebrity gossip or that nonsense. The coverage itself is fair and balanced.

What news sites will email the entire news article to me automatically?

Posted in News  by admin on April 21st, 2010

Are there any online new-sites such as cnn or other major national news network, where I can have the entire news article emailed to me automatically rather just the headline and a link to the main article?

You will hardly find a good article site that send you news automatically. Either they will send you spam of something that is not related to you. Why not try to register at http://www.primaryarticles.com/ and continuously visit and email the link to your site simply clicking on E-mail

What news station do you think has the most accurate information about each Obama and McCain?

Posted in News  by admin on April 18th, 2010

Although I am only 16, I find it extremely difficult to turn it to a news station nowadays because if one news station supports Obama, of course they are only going to say positive things about him and vice versa with McCain. What news station do you think has the most accurate information about each Obama and McCain? Also, do you think that someone should research a candidate completely before voting for them? Like looking up their records? How well have you researched the candidate you are voting for? Thanks!

I agree it’s difficult. I think BBC is the best option. Another thing I try to do is watch both sides of the networks…Keith Olberman, Rachel Maddow, Hardball with Chris Mathews and then Fox news channel for the other side…each will put out the stories on the other and you can compare/contrast and sometimes see backstories on each candidate that shows how they are lying now. The best is when they show McCain during his last try for president…his views and statements are opposite of what he is saying this time…so it’s not biased, it’s showing true flip flopping.

Good for you that at such a young age you are showing great intellect by attempting to gather the truth and for not being so gullible as to believe that our "news" is telling us the truth!

What are at least 20 news events that happened over the summer?

Posted in News  by admin on April 15th, 2010

My school has current events quizzes, so I need to know 20 news events that happened over the summer. Please no celebrity news. Not to much sports, but some. Political is the best. Both national and international.

1. Ted Kennedy’s death,

2.Michael Jackson’s, even though you said no celebrity, that was big news.

3.The fact Jackson’s doctor was giving him anesthesia in his house but no surgery, sorry, but news.

4.North Korea was threatening to shoot missiles at the US on the 4th of July, but didn’t.

5.Swine flu is still around and has killed a few hundred people and they think it could come back.

6. President Obama’s health care plan has not passed, many are for and against it.

7. St. Louis Cardinals are 9 games ahead of the Chicago Cubs in the National league Central Division (sorry but could not resist that)

8. A girl kidnapped 18 years ago was found today (August 27) and apparently had 2 kids by her kidnapper.

Sorry, that’s all I can come up with. Good luck

Look in Wikipedia under 2009. They have a month by month review of the year. See if there is anything you can use. One big one I forgot was

9. the Air France crash in the Atlantic off Brazil

10. The collision of a plane and helicopter over the Hudson River, killing all on board both. Close to where the plane safely went down in January.

11. Protests about President Obama’s health care plan, related to #6. Senators and Congressmen and women are being booed at Town Hall meetings.

12. Weird weather all over. Droughts in Texas, too much rain in the Northeast; cool weather in the midwest in July and August, hot, dry weather in normally cool, wet Northwestern US.

13. Wild fires in California

14. Nearly total economic collapse in California’s government and in other state, and local governments.

15. Car companies going bankrupt, Chrysler, GM

16. Cash for clunkers, people turn in old, gas guzzlers for new cars with a $4500 or so rebate. Old cars are destroyed completely.

How come Fox News does not simply read the news to the audience?

Posted in News  by admin on April 12th, 2010

I remember when the news was read to us with objectivity and impartiality. We got the facts and very little personal opinion.
Whenever I watch Fox News however, as opposed to simply delivering the news, they introduce some ‘guest’ with a biased opinion who is going to explain everything by way of subjective opinion before the viewer has been made aware of the facts.
Why does the most ‘trusted’ name in news steer from reporting and instead into political debate?

oh but you support the hate from msnbc huh !!!! Hypocrisy ia abound today!!!

What religion is preaching the good news of the kingdom of God?

Posted in News  by admin on April 6th, 2010

What are the good news of the kingdom of God?

What is the kingdom of God?

What religion is preaching the good news of the kingdom of God?

Matthew 24:14: And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

Great question, Boanerge.

This is because Jesus identified the period immediately before ‘the end of the system of things,’ as being the time when the "good news of the Kingdom" would be preached.

Everything else he identified in that prophecy has been fulfilled in a massive way. But, most outstandingly, indeed miraculously, that work is being accomplished by a very unique group of people. Worldwide!

Eug.
