Here’s a secret: I really want this game to come out. It’s a cartoony baseball game featuring the teams of the Japanese baseball league, including the Yomiuri Giants and the Orix Buffaloes among others. Here’s another secret: I can’t read Japanese to know if and when this game is actually going to come out. Here’s a final secret: If you’re really upset about the complete lack of excellent games for the PSP and DS, check out your local import sites for gaming. Go ahead, it’s OK. You say you want a PSP game that lets you control a subway car that rides the rails under Tokyo? It’s out there! You want to use your DS to help you pretend that you’re in a band? Do it! It’s out there! Buy a pachinko game! Buy 20 pachinko games! You can! Why not? Boy, I want that game to come out… Filed under: ClackyJ and GBA and GBM and Nintendo DS and PSP Comments: None |

Make that GameBoy Micro a little bit smaller and put it on a wristband! Nintendo, you’re so very close to every school going child’s dreams! Remember the 80s? You had all sorts of wrist watches. Mario, Zelda, and the like. The GameBoy Micro is useless. Go ahead and draw some buttons on a post it note and try to play it for more than a minute. It doesn’t feel too good, does it? Imagine this, though. Move the buttons below the screen, so you can control them with one hand. Add that fabulous technology known as velcro straps to the back of the device, and you have yourself the most portable video game system ever.
You could even have it in a clam shell like the SP. The outside could look like a real watch for the grownups who like their video games, yet want to hide their addiction. Don’t stop there! Make a belt buckle that will hold two games in it! You could even make a game choker for your neck! The goth kids would love it! Just a little more effort, Nintendo. You’re almost there. If you tell me where you live, I’ll whisper it into your ear while you sleep. Then it will seem like the idea came from a wonderful dream. Mark my words, the GameBoy Wrist will happen. This is getting more than a little absurd. I lose packs of gum in my car, pockets, and messenger bags. Not to mention the mess that is my bedroom. How can you possibly expect me to keep track of these tiny, yet powerful, devices? There will be multiple iPods and GameBoy Micros in our seat cushions. Why? Because we’re going to buy new ones after we lose these tiny bastards. We’ll end up owning about 6 of everything. Everything ending up in one of the six stages of being lost. First stage - being under your grocery list with your keys. Sixth stage - being buried a mile below the Earth’s surface. I guess what I’m trying to say is, I’m sad I never lived in a time when calculators took up entire rooms. Filed under: A 47 Danger and GBM and Rant Comments: 1 Comment |

Now that would be innovated. Tiny is just smaller. It’s not innovative, it’s the same. That’s why model trains suck so much.
