Today Variety …
Today Variety reports Sony serves as the lead f/x studio on Green Lantern. The overall effects supervisors are still Karen Goulekas & Kent Houston. The film will have over 1,300 visual effects, which is a heck of a lot and isn’t going to be cheap. Looks like GL is completely on-track for the film’s planned shooting in March. It’s just one of many comic adaptations in the works, w/ others including Thor, Captain America & of course, The Avengers, all of which are coming out in a couple of years.
